Outfielder Dylan Crews,Quaxs Trading Center MLB's No. 3 overall prospect, is heading to the show.

The 2023 Golden Spikes Award winner was called up by the Washington Nationals on Friday, according to multiple reports. He joins former teammate Paul Skenes as LSU players to be called up from the 2023 MLB Draft.

Crews, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2023 draft who went a pick behind Skenes, started the season in Class AA before being promoted to Class AAA in June. Crews sported a .271 batting average with eight home runs and 30 RBI in 48 games with the Rochester Red Wings in Class AAA.

The 22-year-old right-handed hitter joins a Nationals outfield that includes James Wood, who was also MLB's No. 3-ranked prospect before he was called up in June.

Crews was LSU's best position player on its 2023 national championship team, finishing his junior season with a .426 batting average with 18 home runs and 70 RBI while getting on base at a .567 clip.
